IOS 7 is finally here and it has people talking. Our Phoenix website design team wanted to take some time to review it and show you some of the new features that you may not have found yet. If you own an iPhone I would definitely suggest that you update to ios7 as you will have many new features and benefits. The difference you will experience with the upgrade is not comparable to the way it was prior. It took me some getting used too but now I love it.
- Block Numbers – Do you get those annoyinng telemarketing calls? Some times the same number will call you numerous times a day and you ask them to take you off their list but you still get the calls. Now with the new ios7 you can block any number from being able to contact you. This is a major benefit espcially for those people who want to stop being bothered by the same sales pitch day after day and night after night.
- Wipe Out Your Device – Do you have important information on your iPhone. If you do you probably password protect, correct? Well it is only a matter of time before a hacker will break that password and login to your Phone. On the new ios there is a setting that you can actually have all data wiped off your phone after 10 failed attempts. Some will find this useful while others won’t. If you want to enable this feature you simply go Settings > General > Passcode Lock and you will find the function to enable at the bottom.
- Night Mode for Maps – Have you ever been driving at night and needed your passenger to pull up your map for you? We know you don’t pull up the map while driving. When you pull the map the screen is blinding and distracting well with the ios there is a night mode that will keep the make it to where you can view the map without it being so blinding.
- Time Stanmped Messages – Ever needed to know when a message was sent now you can. The messages you recieve are now time stamped for later reference.
These are 4 features of the new ios 7 that you may not know about. There are many cool new features about IOS 7 these are just a couple that we don’t think you heard of.
